The Terra Viva team of À Punt visited our zero plantation of our vineyards at the foot of Guadalest Castle.
We had the opportunity to explain and present this tourist, wine and landscape project of Mas de la Mona.
The objective of Masoses rescue the landscape to put it in value and thus, to integrate the project with nature. We want to achieve this through different aspects from the use of materials such as wood to make impaled, the installation of the walls of dry stone margins and the maintenance of native trees such as olive and almond trees.
The planting of the vines is done respecting the level curves and it should be noted that it is the second that is done in all of Spain, and allows us to optimize the entire terrain.
The vines were installed by hand, with the guidelines that Antoine Medéville marked the oenologist founding of Oenoconseil.
Thanks to the results of the land analysis, the type of graft and grape varieties have been determined.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that the earth has had to work to give it a second life, thus recovering, an original landscape that existed before already existed throughout the Guadalest Valley.
For us it is a privilege to revitalize the land and work in the Guadalest Valley.
